Prior to joining DGG, Tim managed retail and institutional investment conferences in the U.S. and South Africa, including Mining Indaba. Tim also has extensive experience in publishing and publishing technology having founded several publications, and as an editor for several media enterprises.

Alasdair Macleod
Alasdair has been a celebrated stockbroker and Member of the London Stock Exchange for over four decades. His experience encompasses equity and bond markets, fund management, corporate finance and investment strategy.
Alasdair commenced his career on the London Stock Exchange as a stockbroker in 1970, becoming senior partner of his firm in 1979. Subsequently, he became an executive director in a mutual fund management company. He returned to stockbroking full time in 1984 during the City’s Big Bang. In 1997 he moved to Guernsey, where he was commissioned as a consultant to a number of offshore companies in the Island’s finance industry. He became an executive director of an offshore bank, Ansbacher (CI) Ltd, with responsibility for fund management activities in both Guernsey and Jersey.
In 2011, Alasdair was pleased to join Goldmoney as Head of Research, since when he has written a weekly column on economics, finance, precious metals, and geopolitics. He is a frequent guest on podcasts, radio, TV, and as a conference speaker.

Mr. Garrett D. Goggin has served as GSA Associate Editor since 2010. He began his financial career on the floor of the NYSE market working for a local brokerage as a clerk where he learned how investment transactions are processed. As Mr. Goggin saw much of the order flow was moving off-floor he joined a derivative arbitrage group in the United Kingdom and Ireland during the advent of electronic trading and the rise of the Eurex. Mr. Goggin next set up Vox Capital Investment Advisor in order to protect client assets from an overleveraged economy with a focus on alternative asset classes. Garrett acted as equity portfolio manager of the Babson College Fund as well as served as president of the Babson Investment Managers Association during his time as MBA student. Garrett is a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) and a CMT (Certified Market Technician). He serves on the board of the CFA society of South Florida as treasurer. Andrew Breichmanas joined Stifel in February 2021 to cover the Metals & Mining sector from London. John McCluskey
John McCluskey is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alamos Gold Inc. and has held this position since 2003, when he co-founded the Company with mining hall of famer Chester Millar. Mr. McCluskey was formerly a Director of the World Gold Council and is currently an Alternative Director. Mr. McCluskey is the recipient of the 2023 Viola R. MacMillan Award, given by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada for showing leadership and a willingness to take risks in the acquisition and development of the Island Gold mine in Northern Ontario. Shaun Usmar
Shaun is an international mining executive with over 30 years of experience working around the globe in operational, financial and executive leadership roles in some of the world’s largest and fastest growing mining companies. Prior to founding Triple Flag, Shaun served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Barrick Gold Corporation, from 2014 to 2016, where he helped restructure the company.

Rick has more than 40 years of experience in the natural resource sector. Ryan King
Ryan King brings an established approach to business in the natural resource sector, with specific and targeted applications for delivering shareholder value in the mining industry. Randy Reichert
Mr. Reichert has 30 years of experience in the mining industry and prior to joining Skeena, was the Vice President of Operations at B2Gold Corp. where he oversaw their three international gold operations. Before his most recent role at B2Gold Corp, Mr. Reichert was the General Manager at their Fekola Mine in Mali where he was part of the development team and led the transition from development into operations. He started his career with Cominco in Canada working at various operations including the Snip Mine. He then embarked on international work with Bema Gold, Oriel Resources, and other junior companies in executive roles where he was responsible for various development projects and mining operations. Garrett Goggin
Mr. Garrett D. Goggin has served as GSA Associate Editor since 2010. He began his financial career on the floor of the NYSE market working for a local brokerage as a clerk where he learned how investment transactions are processed. As Mr. Goggin saw much of the order flow was moving off-floor he joined a derivative arbitrage group in the United Kingdom and Ireland during the advent of electronic trading and the rise of the Eurex. Mr. Goggin next set up Vox Capital Investment Advisor in order to protect client assets from an overleveraged economy with a focus on alternative asset classes. Garrett acted as equity portfolio manager of the Babson College Fund as well as served as president of the Babson Investment Managers Association during his time as MBA student. Garrett is a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) and a CMT (Certified Market Technician). He serves on the board of the CFA society of South Florida as treasurer. Mr. Goggin holds MS and MBA business degrees in Finance from Babson College.
Alasdair Macleod
Alasdair has been a celebrated stockbroker and Member of the London Stock Exchange for over four decades. His experience encompasses equity and bond markets, fund management, corporate finance and investment strategy.
Alasdair commenced his career on the London Stock Exchange as a stockbroker in 1970, becoming senior partner of his firm in 1979. Subsequently, he became an executive director in a mutual fund management company. He returned to stockbroking full time in 1984 during the City’s Big Bang. In 1997 he moved to Guernsey, where he was commissioned as a consultant to a number of offshore companies in the Island’s finance industry. He became an executive director of an offshore bank, Ansbacher (CI) Ltd, with responsibility for fund management activities in both Guernsey and Jersey.
In 2011, Alasdair was pleased to join Goldmoney as Head of Research, since when he has written a weekly column on economics, finance, precious metals, and geopolitics. He is a frequent guest on podcasts, radio, TV, and as a conference speaker.

Toby Brandon is the COO at ICE Benchmark Administration. He was previously Senior Director, Soft Commodities at ICE Futures Europe where he is responsible for the smooth operation and contract rules of the Robusta Coffee Future contract.
After graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Economics, Toby started in banking before starting in agricultural commodities as a sugar and grains buyer in 2004.
Following a long spell in cocoa as a purchasing manager and then a trader, he joined ICE in 2015 where he is responsible for London Cocoa, Robusta Coffee, White Sugar and the UK Feed Wheat futures contracts.

Michael Steinmann
Mr. Steinmann joined Pan American in 2004 and held progressively senior roles before being promoted to President in 2015 and President and CEO in 2016. He has also been a director of the Company since 2016 and is a member of the Communities & Sustainable Development and the Health, Safety & Environment Committees.
Mr. Steinmann has over 25 years of experience in the base and precious metals industry. Ian Cockerill
Ian Cockerill was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Endeavour in January 2024, having joined the Board as Senior Independent Director in 2022 and been Deputy Chair since September 2023. He has nearly 50 years of experience in the global natural resources industry, having previously been Chief Executive Officer at Gold Fields Ltd, and Chief Executive Officer at AngloCoal, a subsidiary of the Anglo American group.

David Wolfin
Mr. Wolfin has over 30 years of public company experience in mineral exploration, development, construction, and operations in precious metals in North America.
He currently serves as President, CEO and Director of Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd listed on NYSE American and Toronto stock exchanges. He successfully developed the company from a minority owner of the closed Avino mine in 2001 with a market capitalization of $0.8 M, to successfully negotiating a 100% ownership in the Avino mine in 2006, and then into commercial production in 2012. He successfully grew the company to one with 300-500 employees with a market capitalization reaching as high as $250 M.
Mr. Wolfin learned the business from the ground up by working in the field at mines and operations in Mexico, Nevada and in the finance industry by working on the floor of the Vancouver Stock Exchange in the 1980’s, and several years at Pacific International and Continental Carlyle Douglas Securities firms in the 1980’s. He also learned under the mentorship of his late father Mr. Louis Wolfin, legendary mining financier.
He is experienced in M&As, Capital Markets, Brokered & Private Placement financings, and an Offtake agreement with Samsung, At-The-Market offerings, and credit facilities totalling more than $250 M US in aggregate.

Mr. Penny is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 30 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning and financial reporting. Formerly, Mr. Penny was the Executive Vice President and CFO of New Gold Inc., a multi-national mining company, from 2009 until 2017; the Vice President of Finance and CFO of Kinross Gold Corporation, one of the world's largest gold producers from 1993 until 2004; the CFO of Western Goldfields Inc. from 2006 to 2009; and the CFO of Silver Bear Resources Plc from 2005 to 2009. Mr. Penny also formerly served as a member of the Board of Directors of Equinox Minerals Limited from 2004 to 2011 when it was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation; Alamos Gold Inc. from 2005 to 2008; and Baffinland Iron Mines Limited from 2004 to 2008. In addition, he has been a director of Maverix Metals Inc. since July 2019. Mr. Penny obtained his Diploma in Business-Accounting and Finance from Cambrian College and is a CPA, CMA.

Fred Earnest has served as director of Vista Gold since 2007 and was appointed CEO of the Company in January 2012. He served as the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer from 2007-2012 and as Senior Vice President, Project Development from 2006-2007. Dan Wilton
Dan Wilton has 25 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance and principal investing in the mining sector, having executed as principal or advised on more than $10 billion of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and more than $1 billion of financings. Dan was most recently a Partner at Pacific Road Capital Management, a mining-focused private equity investment firm with approximately $800 million under management. Sam Lee
Mr. Lee was appointed to the role of President & CEO of Northisle in October 2020. Over the past 20 years Mr. Lee has advised on some of the most prominent M&A, equity, and debt transactions in the international and Canadian global mining industry totalling over $100 billion in value. During this period, he has worked in major resource markets including Toronto, Sydney, and Vancouver where he led various strategic initiatives for CIBC World Markets. Prior to joining Coeur, Mr. Whelan served as CFO of Arizona Mining Inc. from September 2017 to August 2018, when the company was acquired from South32 Limited. Previously, Mr. Whelan served as CFO for Nevsun Resources Ltd. from January 2014 to August 2017. He is a chartered professional accountant and was previously a partner with the international accounting firm Ernst & Young (“EY”) LLP where he was the EY Global Mining & Metals Assurance sector leader, the leader of the EY Assurance practice in Vancouver and previously EY’s Canadian Mining & Metals sector leader. Patrick Godin
Mr. Godin has over 30 years of corporate, technical and operations experience in the mining industry. Most recently, Mr. Godin was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pretium Resources Inc. and was responsible for the operations of the Brucejack Mine. Cobus Loots
A chartered accountant by profession, Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, has many years of experience in the African mining sector. Cobus has previously also worked for Macquarie Africa in investment banking as well as for Sentula Mining and Shanduka Resources. He has been a director of Pan-African Resources since 2009, serving as Financial Director from 2013 until his appointment as CEO in March 2015.
Cobus’s tenure as CEO has overseen the company develop a track record of successful tailings retreatment projects (including in Barberton and Elikhulu in Evander) and will now further expand its tailings operations by constructing the Mogale Tailings Retreatment project, which will add some 50,000oz/yr of low cost, high-margin tailings to the company’s production profile in 2025.

Peter Marrone
Peter Marrone is Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, and was Executive Chairman of Yamana, which he founded in 2003. He has more than 35 years of mining, business and capital markets experience. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Marrone has founded and taken public several companies in various sectors and advised companies on going public and establishing the required protocols for governance in his role as an investment banker and lawyer before that. He has been on the boards of a number of public companies and has advised companies with a strong international presence.

Charlie graduated from the University of Oxford as a chemist, joining Cazenove in the early 1990s. After brief stints working in pharmaceuticals and oils he settled down as Cazenove’s mining analyst, spending three years in Johannesburg, among other places. He moved to T Hoare Canaccord in 1999 as a specialist mining salesman and also worked for two years as Cluff Mining’s mineral economist, responsible for global target asset valuations. Doug Flegg
Doug Flegg, CFA has over 35 years’ experience in mining and mining finance with senior positions in research, portfolio management and global equity sales. Previously, Mr. Flegg was Managing Director Global Mining Sales with BMO Capital Markets where he was involved in raising $35 billion in over 200 corporate financings. Robert Wares
Robert Wares is a professional geologist with over 40 years’ experience in mineral exploration and development, mostly in Eastern Canada. He was one of the three original founders of Osisko Exploration/Osisko Mining Corp. and was responsible for the discovery of the Canadian Malartic bulk tonnage gold deposit, which was subsequently developed into Canada’s largest gold mine.
